The second phase of the educational program “Women in Tech" in cooperation with the Public Employment Service (D.YP.A) and Interlei started
The second phase of the educational program "Women in Tech", has started. This program is implemented as part of the Public Employment Service's (DYPA) partnership with HUAWEI to upgrade the skills of the female workforce and reduce the digital gap in the labor market. It is the continuation of this cooperation after the successful completion of the first phase of the project.
The vocational training program, of a total duration of one hundred (100) hours, is implemented by the training provider Interlei and it is addressed to 500 registered unemployed women, aged 25 to 50 years old. It concerns the provision of modern distance training in the following subjects:
A) Basic ICT Skills total duration of 60 training hours: This module is designed to reinforce trainees' basic IT and communication skills, which are extremely important in today's digital work environment.
It includes four core courses:
- Excel Level II
- Excel Level III
- Data Analysis
- Introductory Artificial Intelligence (AI) Course
B) Soft Skills, total duration of 40 training hours: This module focuses on enhancing interpersonal and professional skills that are critical for career development and effective communication in the workplace.
It includes three main courses:
- Personal Branding
- Presentation Skills
- Communication Skills
The training program will be implemented through a modern online training platform, while upon completion of each thematic module, all beneficiaries will have the right to take part in free exams that will certify their level of knowledge. Upon successful completion of the training program, the trainees will receive a certificate of attendance.

The new phase of the “Women in Tech” program is set to open up new employment opportunities for even more unemployed women aged 25 to 50, reaching 665 beneficiaries, an impressive 33% increase. The successful partnership between DYPA and Huawei will help participants to enrich their CVs with knowledge that is sought after by companies in the ICT sector."
