Being Digi-Sapiens, Connecting with Nature, Episode Three (Discovery)

(Sept. 2024) Digital technologies are helping humans to live in better harmony with Nature, from tackling the impact of climate change to delivering high-speed broadband to remote communities, the latest episode of Discovery’s “Being Digi-Sapiens” shows.

Episode Three, “Connecting with Nature,” follows the Swedish inventor, roboticist, and YouTuber Simone Giertz as she travels across Europe. In Finland, she highlights how 5G is not only fast but supports reliable Wi-Fi in hard-to-reach places. In Greece, she tests out an innovative system to pinpoint and put out forest fires before they blaze out of control.
